On Thursday afternoons, I get on my bike and I cycle for 20 or more miles with the Gulf Coast Cycling Club.

On Monday, Wednesday, and Friday mornings, I lace up my sneakers and I go run for 1 hour and 30 minutes.

Every day, I turn off all electronics at 2000 CDT and lay in my bed for 8 or 9 hours of sleep.

Consistency and commitment are helping me crack the code. I set very strict, impenetrable boundaries, and as a result I am a master of my destiny.

I walk, talk, and perform with confidence because I know that I can complete any task that is assigned to me in a timely manner while producing excellent results. I am continually motivated to improve in my job, as a runner, and as a cyclist. Nothing else matters. Those are the three things I focus on.
